Our Lodge is a comfortable and private country house, conveniently located between properties and just a few miles off I-65. Perfectly laid out with 4 bed/2 baths and a game room in the basement. The Lodge has been renovated to sleep 6 guests comfortably and with privacy. Relax and enjoy yourself here during your stay. It is a 10 to 20 minute trip in different directions to various farms.
Most meals at the lodge are non-prepared food (cereal, sandwiches, canned soups etc) that you can help yourself to whenever is convenient. We don't cook meals inside the lodge for scent control, but often bring in food from local places in the evenings or cook on the porch. For breakfast and lunch you can choose from a variety of items stocked in the cabinets or let us know what you'd like to have at the lodge and we will have it ready for you. Typically we recommend making a couple of sandwiches to take with you to the stand on rut hunts where it's best to sit until noon at least.
Alcohol is not provided. You may bring your own to enjoy lightly in the evenings. There are many dry counties in Kentucky, and it's a 20 minute drive from the lodge to purchase alcohol.
Most rooms feature two twin 12" luxury memory foam beds. These beds are medium-firm and extremely comfortable for most. Shared rooms have room divider curtains so you have privacy.
If you tag out early and want to stay, some area attractions include the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park just a few minutes away (https://www.nps.gov/abli/index.htm), or tour a distillery on the famous Bourbon Trail and watch the bourbon making process Kentucky is famous for. Many are within 45 minutes of our location. Jim Beam at Clermont has daily tours (http://www.jimbeam.com/en-us/visit-us/book-a-tour), as do many around Bardstown, KY, the Bourbon capital of the world.
